Within the next few days, Canadians will remember and honour the recent passing of our National War Hero, Sergeant (retired) Ernest “Smokey” Smith with a national military funeral in Vancouver, British Columbia. Sgt. Smith was Canada's last living Victoria Cross recipient and passed away at the age of 91.
